Just an ordinary person trying to work through best ways to support her nearest and dearest.

All opinions and thoughts are my own and certainly not designed to provoke criticism, bad feeling or anything negative for that matter. There’s already too much of that going on, especially online.

If you disagree with anything I write, please just ignore it and you and I will understand that we just walk different paths. If you find any positive resonance, feel free to add your own comments, I’d love to hear from you.

  1. “If you disagree with anything I write, please just ignore it” I feel the same way, why bring negativity into our space, right?! I love the title of your blog, does it have a special meaning or personal significance…I have not yet browsed your blog so maybe you’ve already written about it… I am so happy to have been shown the way here by our mutual friend and Tribe leader BELINDA 🙂

    • Hahaha – I feel like we need to make her a badge or something with her new title 🙂 And it’s a pleasure to ‘meet’ you.
It pulls from the symbolism of bamboo, a symbol I hold very dear to my heart – including longevity, mental strength, perseverance and friendship… Thank you for asking.

      • riiight!! I once took a short course in chinese drawing and my teacher once spoke of three gentlemen: the bamboo, the peach tree and the plum blossom…or was it the cherry tree… have to look it up… love the symbolism, plus it’s quite a resilient plant, I planted one when my daughter was born it’s her bamboo and it has grown as fast and strong as she has even in our desert climate…yeah, let’s make her a badge! TRIBE LEADER… creative juices flowing 🙂
